Aging & Disability Resource Center (ADRC)

The ADRC is here to simplify your search for care. We provide streamlined access to information, care options, short-term case management, and benefits enrollment across a wide range of long-term services and supports.

Our Options Counselors can guide you, make referrals, and connect you directly with services that best fit your needs. As part of Indiana’s No Wrong Door (NWD) initiative, ADRC ensures that anyone seeking long-term services and supports (LTSS) has a single, reliable place to turn for help.

What Services Can I Receive?

Through the ADRC, you can access:

  • Information & Referral – Guidance to the right programs and resources.
  • Application & Assessment – Help applying for federal and state-funded programs, including:
    • Medicaid Waiver Programs
    • Medicare Low-Income Subsidy
    • Meals on Wheels
    • State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP)
  • Private Pay Services – Non-income-based options to help you remain safe and independent at home.

Eligibility & Costs

  • Free Support: There is no cost to call the ADRC for information and assistance.
  • Program Requirements: Each program has its own eligibility rules. Your Options Counselor will explain what applies to you and help you through the process.

State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP)

SHIP is a free, unbiased counseling program provided by the Indiana Department of Insurance to help Medicare beneficiaries make informed decisions.
