FAMILY CAREGIVER CENTER (ADRC)

Reducing caregiver burnout through community based services and supports.

Family Caregiver Center (ADRC)

Caring for those who care for others.

Being a caregiver is rewarding—but it can also be overwhelming. The Family Caregiver Center, part of the Aging & Disability Resource Center (ADRC), is here to provide support, resources, and relief for family caregivers.

Our goal is simple: to reduce caregiver stress and help loved ones remain at home, surrounded by family and community, rather than in institutional care.

Who We Support

The Family Caregiver Center serves caregivers of:

  • Adults age 60 or older
  • Individuals of any age living with dementia or related disorders

How We Help

Through community-based services, caregivers can access:

  • Emotional Support & Counseling – Tools and encouragement to reduce stress.
  • Respite Care Resources – Giving caregivers time to rest and recharge.
  • Education & Training – Information on dementia care, caregiving strategies, and available programs.
  • Referrals & Connections – Linking families to community services and supports.

Getting Referred

Caregivers may be referred through the ADRC by:

  • Health and social service professionals
  • Friends or family members
  • Or even by self-referral

✨ You don’t have to care alone. The Family Caregiver Center is here to walk alongside you—supporting both you and the person you love.
